The Graduate’s Checklist: Everything You Need for a Great Photo Session

Congratulations grad! 🎓 Your moment is here! Soak it all in, you've earned it!! I am thrilled to capture this special milestone for you. Here are a few things to know to make the most of your grad photo session: Props Give your photos an authentic feel by bringing along a few items you're passionate about.

Play the guitar? Paint? Play sports? Bring your instruments, sports equipment, art supplies or even a furry friend to help create meaningful and unforgettable images. Even a vehicle makes for a great prop for your photos. These photos are all about you, and there are so many fun ways to make your session uniquely you!

Hair & Makeup

It's best to keep your hair and makeup authentic to you. You want to look and feel your best, while also feeling comfortable and confident. Stick with a look that brings out your best features.

Hiring a professional makeup artist or hairstylist isn't necessary, but it can take the stress out of getting your look just right.

Poses

I will always come to photo sessions with poses and creative ideas in mind, but I am happy to incorporate your vision into the session. Feel free to share any ideas or inspiration for your session. Have fun!

Enjoy your moment and have fun with it! Let your personality shine through. The best photos happen in the unscripted and unposed moments where you truly relax and forget about the camera. I aim to capture as many of these moments as I possibly can during our session.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out! I am here to help you make the most of your photo session and can't wait to document this chapter of your story!
